Sporting Clays

John, my Significant Other loves the hobby of shooting Sporting Clays. For those who don't know what this is; it is seeing how adept you can become at shooting clay targets thrown through the air as if they are birds in flight. It is a lot harder than you might imagine, and the folks who enjoy the sport also enjoy investing in equipment to play, along with hefty fees to participate in major tournaments held around the country (and world). While John shoots his clay targets I take opportunities to shoot the countryside with my digital camera and capture interesting scenarios of participants enjoying the game. The top picture is an example of the beautiful scenery one sees on the way to some of the Shooting Clubs. All of the Clubs are located in rural areas, and the scenery is so spectacular!
